What This Site Is

Chakra work has a real tradition behind it, but most of what gets written about it online is either vague enough to mean nothing or confident enough to mislead. Chakra Serenity exists to close that gap: specific instructions, sourced explanations, and an honest line between what a tradition teaches and what is modern interpretation.

The site is organised around forty-one topics, though the depth concentrates in a handful of them:

Alongside the articles, the site runs ten free interactive tools — a chakra balance test, a crystal matcher, a frequency finder, five playable instruments and more — built because the alternative was recommending an app that wanted an email address for something a browser can do. Every tool is at Chakra Calculator and Chakra Instruments, no sign-up required.

How the Site Is Run

Four rules the editorial process runs on:

Tradition, labelled as tradition

Chakra work comes from tantric and yogic tradition, not clinical research. Pages say which is which rather than borrowing the language of evidence for a traditional claim.

Disagreement is shown, not hidden

Where sources genuinely conflict — a symbol’s meaning, a number, a technique — the article says so instead of picking whichever version sounds most confident.

Affiliate links are disclosed

Some product links earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Every one is marked on the page it appears on, and a product is recommended for a stated, checkable reason or not at all.

Articles get corrected

Pages are revisited, not left to rot. A byline showing “Updated” means the page was substantively changed on that date, not just re-saved.

This site does not provide medical advice. Chakra and energy practices are offered as traditional and spiritual content for informational purposes, alongside professional care, never in place of it. If something hurts, persists, or frightens you, the right next step is a qualified clinician.

Writing at Chakra Serenity since 2023

Emma founded Chakra Serenity and still writes nearly all of it herself. Her interest is in the part most wellness writing skips: what a practice is supposed to feel like, how long it takes, what the tradition actually says, and where a claim comes from — which is the standard the site above is built on.
